This tool extracts author name, company, e-mail address, and country information from Internet Drafts and RFCs.
getauthors draft-foo-00.txt ...
Output will be consist of one row per each author, with fields separated by colons. These fields are as follows:
For the last five fields, if the data cannot be determined, the value "UNKNOWN" is used instead.

The tool can be downloaded here. You also need the datafile (which you have to ask from me, the author, as it contains some e-mail addresses), place this at the same directory as the script. Current version is 2.0.6. See also authorstats, getidtype and getrfctype.
